Many years experience as a marketing professional means that this graphic designer has your need for effectiveness covered...
We have an enormous amount of experience in marketing...
This really sets us apart from lots of other graphic designers. Anyone who has engaged a graphic designer to do work and found that they need to be ‘spoon-fed’ direction on a project will know how frustrating that is. You need a creative graphic designer who is proactive…helping consumers notice your branded materials, to respond to your calls to action and make your brand memorable.
Often business owners rely heavily on their designers to guide the best brochure layout and set a good hierarchy of message. The problem is, many graphic designers are just not interested enough in marketing or equipped with the best knowledge. Good design schools spend time on marketing topics, however, there is no way that limited training can replace in-depth marketing studies and years of marketing experience.
Flex Marketing gives you the best of both worlds, a formally trained graphic designer with a degree in marketing and loads of marketing experience. Our outsource marketing packages give you an affordable way of accessing this powerful combination of skills. Alternatively, you can hire us as a freelance graphic designer for your project.
When you work directly with the person doing your marketing and graphic design, it is generally quicker because you don’t have an account handler liaising in the middle – this reduces the chance of miscommunication and increases efficiency!

I took a year out to study full time at the well-respected Media Design School in Auckland, gaining a Diploma in Graphic Design, about 10 years ago. I undertook this qualification after many years of working in marketing to satisfy two goals. Firstly, to inject more creativity into everyday life and secondly, to 'skill stack' graphic design with marketing to start my own business, providing a point of difference in offering a comprehensive marketing service.
I have always had a passion for art and design, participating in workshops whenever I have had a chance since being a top art student at high school. I even got the opportunity to undertake a childrens’ book illustration course at the prestigious Central St Martin’s College of Art while living in London and have since self-published a childrens’ picture book ‘Cock-a-doodle Don’t’. Some of my illustrations are also available on Society6 and Redbubble online art stores.
I've had the privilege of getting great experience with Macmillan Publishers – the education division that designed school readers in New Zealand for the Australasian market. I also spent time agency side, working on clients like Subway, Hells Pizza, The Baby Factory and other well-known brands, answering their creative briefs on everything from large format signage and point of sale through to brochures and digital ads. At the same time, I managed the studio's online printing business.
I really enjoy working on graphic design projects, using the Adobe Creative Suite to power up Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign to create client work –check out the design showcase for examples. I would love the chance to meet you, get to know about your business and how I can use my creative skills as an experienced marketer and graphic designer to help you.
Let's see how we can help
If you have regular graphic design work for us to undertake, this can be done as part of an outsource marketing package.
